Lift Up Jo - Open class racer in England (pictured at right)
Alipop is
superbly bred out of Top Honcho who is claimed to be the greatest No. 1
sire ever with his pups running out over 1/2 million in prizemoney during
2002! Top Honcho's current stud fee has been raised to an astonishing 2,000 Euros.
Her dam, Lift Up, has produced open class pups in every litter which included breedings to Staplers Jo, Vintage Prince & Larkhill Jo. Ali's
litterbrother, Javelin King, contested in the Tote Gold Cup, Reading Masters, Irish Breeders Stakes, as well as the English Derby heats. Born To Go, a 1/2 brother, raced 2nd in the Grand National, and 1st in Champion Hurdle.
Lift Up's sire, Cry Dalcash, made a big impression on the Irish breeding scene by producing top-class winners including: Joannestown Cash (previous stud) who won the Guiness 600, contested in Irish Derby, as well as set the track record at Shelbourne Park over the 600y distance (32.49); Mr Bozz (previous stud) who won the Easter Cup, Champion Stakes, Waterford
Masters and contested in the Irish Derby; CeeKay (previous stud) who won the ARC, contested in English Derby, 2nd English Laurels. Cry Dalcash is
also proving to be a great producer of brood matrons.
Lift Up's dam include, Ardfert Sean, sire of English Derby winner, Ardfert Mick, as well as champion greyhound producer, Lindas Champion.
Ali only raced four times (she had two 2nds, 1st) before she injured her hock. She won her 2nd official start in Derry in 28.96 for the 525y.
